New Year's Day good luck and good fortune dinner.{Compliments of Commander's Kitchen}


1 Smoked bone-in hame, 10-11 pounds                       3 bay leaves
2 medium onions, in medium dice                                 1 tablespoon whole cloves
2 bell peppers, any color, in medium dice                    1/2 cup honey
1 small head garlic, cloves peeled and minced            1 cup creole mustard
1 pound dried black-eyed peas, rinsed.                        1 large head cabbage, cut into 8
2 quarts water                                                                   even pieces.
Kosher salt and ground pepper to taste
